Today we had a very busy and exciting half-day in Ms. Quirke’s Junior Infants!
We started off by singing Row, Row, Row Your Boat with Ms. McHugh.
Then we went on a fun egg hunt, where we matched our numbers to the correct eggs 🥚such a great way to learn maths through play! We also enjoyed colouring pictures by matching numbers.
We also practised our nursery rhyme for the week, “1, 2, 3, 4, 5, Once I Caught a Fish Alive.”
Next, Ms. Nolan read us a lovely story at our library. We continued our Irish learning with Bua na Cainte, practising all our Easter vocabulary.
After that, we had great fun outside blowing bubbles with other Junior Infant classes.
We were also very proud to bring home our fantastic Easter art!
To finish the day, Ms. Quirke surprised us with an Easter egg to celebrate all our hard work this term.
We hope you enjoy watching our video as much as we enjoyed our learning today! 🌼
