Curious Minds Gold Award
We’re delighted to announce that TPS has been awarded the Research Ireland Gold Curious Minds Award! ![]()
The Curious Minds programme supports schools in developing children’s natural curiosity through hands-on, inquiry-based STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) learning.
To achieve this award, we showcased the fantastic STEM work taking place throughout the school this year, from Junior Infants right through to 6th Class. Our pupils demonstrated creativity, problem-solving, collaboration and a genuine enthusiasm for exploring the world around them.
We were especially proud to receive the following feedback from Research Ireland:
“You have had great opportunities to share your learning in STEM with the wider school community, including the Minister for Education. I was also very impressed with your Clanns where the junior pupils work with the senior pupils. What a lovely activity to develop technology skills.”
This recognition reflects the hard work and enthusiasm of our pupils, the dedication of our staff, and the support of our wider school community. Congratulations to everyone involved in making STEM such an exciting and engaging part of life in TPS! ![]()
