It was quite a productive and exciting day in 5th Class today!
Ceolchoirm
This morning we practised for our St. Patrick’s Day ceolchoirm. We have worked really hard rehearsing our songs and tunes the past few weeks as we get ready for our Lá Glas performance to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. This is a sneak peek of what’s to come on Friday – the excitement is definitely building!
P.E. Time!
We then headed to P.E. where we warmed up with a fun activity that tested our reactive skills. After our warm-up, we had great fun taking part in a tag rugby competition. You can see the fantastic teamwork and effort from everyone.
Maths warm-up with ‘Hit the Button’
We got our brains ready for maths by playing the interactive game ‘Hit the Button’. The class tried their best to beat the class high score showing quick thinking and lots of enthusiasm!
‘Our Countries’ Presentations
We listened to two fantastic presentations today about Italy and Rwanda. We learned lots of interesting facts about each country, including culture, food and traditions.
We are very proud that our classroom represents 14 different nationalities, which makes our learning even more special.
St. Patrick’s Day Art
To finish the day, we got creative with our St. Patrick’s Day art. The classroom was full of colour, shamrocks and imaginative designs as everyone put great effort into their work.
