PEEP

Peep Learning Together Programme- (Peers Early Education Partnership)
The peep programme takes place yearly in all  Junior infant classes. It’s a 4 week intervention led by the HSCL, class teachers and school completion personnel alongside parents. It helps parents support their children’s learning through play and engaging activities that build parent, child and school relationships. A session integrates story, song and rhyme and arts subjects (music, drama and art education). It promotes the wellbeing of all involved.
It is a foundation for oral language acquisition and later reading and writing development. The overall goal is “doing with” rather than “doing to” parents.

Younger siblings are always welcome, further enhancing their smooth transition to primary school in later years.

A caring, inclusive and innovative primary School in Tuam, Co Galway.
