Librarian Committee
A group of pupils from 5th class is selected yearly to form the Librarian Committee. This is a special opportunity for pupils who enjoy reading and would like to help promote a love of books throughout the school.
The aim of the Librarian Committee is to support and promote reading within the school community and to help care for and organise the school library.
Members of the committee meet regularly and carry out a variety of important tasks. These may include helping to organise books, keeping the library tidy, assisting younger pupils in choosing books, asupporting reading initiatives and events in the school.
Being part of the Librarian Committee provides pupils with valuable experience in responsibility, teamwork, organisation, and leadership. It also helps to create a positive reading culture and encourages pupils to share their enjoyment of books with others.
Serving on the Librarian Committee is a rewarding experience and an important way for pupils to contribute to school life while promoting a love of reading. ![]()
