Visit to University of Galway Youth Academy

Well done to Tharunika, Mufaro, Rhys, Samson, Maeve, and Julia, who recently attended the University of Galway Youth Academy. Trinity has had many students attend these courses over the years. The students got to attend lectures, take part in experiments, and observe demonstrations over the 6 weeks. This was a fantastic opportunity and more of our students will attend the next course in the new year.

Meet our new TPS Green Schools Committee

Meet our new TPS Green Schools Committee.
We have a class representative from each class from 2nd – 6th.
Today we met for the first time and will be working to achieve a Green Flag for our school. The theme we are working on is ‘Litter and Waste’. The children will be working with the entire school community to help to reduce the litter and waste in our school. They have lots of great ideas and will be starting this work in January.

Huge congratulations to the girls from High Cross College

Artist in Residence

How lucky were we to have an Artist in Residence this term! Kate Kelly from Art Room 109 worked on a collaborative Makedo ‘Zentangle’ project with a 6th class group. She also facilitated Sensory Art Sessions with our ASC classes. We are very thankful to Kate and Galway County Council.
