After School Clubs

We’re delighted to share the exciting range of after-school clubs on offer this term! From sports and creative activities to STEM and enrichment opportunities, there’s something for everyone to enjoy, explore, and develop new skills. Our clubs provide a fun, supportive environment where students can try something new, build confidence, and make friends beyond the classroom.

HERO

This January, we are challenging our pupils to be a HERO every day! By showing up every day on time for school our pupils can earn points for their class and be in with a chance of winning exciting prizes. Every small action counts, so let’s work together to make January a month full of HERO’s.

CAPER – Children and Parents Enjoying Reading

We will be engaging in the CAPER Reading Initiative throughout the month of January, encouraging pupils to develop a love of reading through regular and enjoyable activities both in school and at home. This initiative supports the development of strong reading habits, builds confidence, and helps foster a positive reading culture across our school community.

TPS Christmas Newsletter 2025

As we come to the end of a busy term, we would like to wish all our pupils, families, and staff a very happy and peaceful Christmas. This festive season gives us a chance to reflect on the many achievements of the past months and to thank our school community for their continued support. We look forward to welcoming everyone back in the New Year, refreshed and ready for the term ahead.

Quiz Team

Congratulations to our brilliant quiz teams who took home 2nd and 5th place in the TESC Maths Quiz in High Cross College. We are very proud of their teamwork, hard work and fantastic problem solving skills!

Bí Cineálta

We are proud to launch our new Bí Cineálta (Be Kind) Policy, which replaces our previous Anti-Bullying Policy.

Our amazing Student Council have worked together to create a student-friendly poster that explains what bullying is and how to do the right thing.

Everyone is reminded to tell an adult if they’re ever worried about something – because at Trinity Primary School, we want everyone to feel safe and happy.

Attendance in TPS

Every day spent in Trinity Primary School is a building block for our children’s future.

As parents and guardians, encouraging punctuality and good attendance is one of the simplest and most powerful ways we can set them up for success. Let’s keep cheering them on – every day counts! #HERO

Cumann na mBunscoil Winners.

The TPS team showed great character and resilence throughout the full game. Having conceded an early goal, the boys battled hard and clawed back the lead to make it level at half-time. In the second half, which produced some great scores and a fine display of attacking and defensive play. Throughout the normal and extra time, the TPS team showed great determination, skill and never give up attitude. Congratulations boys!!!!

Linking Digital Learning with the Primary Language Curriculum in T.P.S.

Last term, two videos were created by the Department of Education showcasing our good practice in relation to digital portfolios and formative assessment in Trinity Primary School. The children display their knowledge and skill in relation to technology so clearly, and their presentation and oral language skills are of a high standard.
